Wedding Invites For Your Big Day

I made a post about helping you start wedding planning, here, that talked about how looking at invitations can help you move towards deciding on your wedding theme/look/ overall feel or style. I mentioned Minted.com, because that is where I purchased all of my wedding related stationary.

Today, I decided to make a post about what invitations I would choose if I were having a different kind of wedding. You'll have to wait for me to share what my own choice was, but hopefully you can see how each invitation fits with each wedding type. Of course, each person's style and taste is different, so definitely follow your own preferences! This is just me sharing what I would do :)

I love the timelessness of this design. It just screams clean and classic with a touch of elegance.
I have such a soft spot for blush florals and lush greens. And by the look of many wedding blogs and real wedding photos, so do many other brides.
This invitation is more abstract looking with the colored paint splotches. It makes a bold and colorful statement without being too over the top.
If I invited people to a city hall wedding I would want the invitation to look very simple and efficient- in a good way! I also think letterpress adds a unique element.
If I were doing a backyard wedding, I would want my invitation to reflect the fun, cheery, and laid back mood of the event.
You can never have enough pink flowers.
I will admit that I never would even consider having a barn wedding, but that's just me. If I did, I think the handwriting on this invitation says 'rustic' without being too literal.

I was drawn to the colors of this invitation. It definitely makes me think of the changing seasons.

Classic white, check. A wreath pattern that isn't too 'holiday', check.
