Into the Blue

Sometimes you just need to give your skin a drink! Hydrated skin will never go out of style, and here are 3 aqua moisturizers that will quench your skin's thirst.
All of these moisturizers have a gel-cream texture that are easily absorbed into the skin. They all have a refreshingly cooling effect and leave your skin feeling supple.

1. Sunday Riley tidal brightening enzyme water cream
If you're looking for a more luxurious  water-cream, this one by Sunday Riley has added exfoliating benefits.  It has enzymes and plant extracts to smooth your skin and reduce pigmentation. I use this at night, and after using up almost the entire container, I have noticed that my skin has not appeared dull or dry when I wake up in the morning.
2. Belif the true cream aqua bomb
This aqua bomb cream is a best seller in Korea and it happens to be a favorite of Sephora customers. This is a cheaper option than the Sunday Riley, but it still delivers. It's odd to describe a cream as 'watery', but this feels like a flood of moisture going into your skin. This is particularly great to use in the summer months when you want something light, cooling, but still hydrating. It also has antioxidants to fight off free radicals. My sister has used this cream too, and has said it works well for her oily skin type.
3. Laneige water sleeping mask
Technically, this isn't a moisturizer... but it will moisturize your skin overnight. Sleeping masks or sleeping packs have been around for awhile in Korea, but are now becoming more common in the U.S. A sleeping mask is basically a cream that stays on your skin as you sleep, so you can wake up to plump, hydrated, and rejuvenated skin. This Laneige sleeping mask forms a weightless moisturizing film over your face to trap in its active ingredients. This mask is meant to be used once or twice a week, so it's great if you want to give your regular nighttime skincare routine an extra punch every so often. Whenever my skin is feeling sallow or stressed I try to use this, and I'm always reminded of how much better my skin looks the next morning.
