Beauty at Work

What products do you keep at your work? I rarely find the need or time to touch up at work. However, there are a few products that I keep at work. I think that looking presentable and alive at work is so important. It's a part of professionalism.

1. Aquaphor healing ointment $4-7
I love this stuff for dry, uncomfortable skin- especially in winter. Some people complain that it's too thick and can leave your hands feeling greasy, but on days when I need it, my skin just soaks it up. Just remember that a little can go a long way.

2. Burt's Bees milk and honey lotion (I have a 1 oz. size) 2.5 oz for $5
This is okay for a light hand moisturizer. I won't repurchase this again, but it's fine for after washing my hands with my work's very drying foaming hand soap.

3. Burt's Bees pomegranate lip balm $3.29
Burt's Bees lip balm is a favorite among many. I don't see much of a hint of color- but that's probably because my lips are more pigmented on their own. If I had to choose between this one and the original Burt's Bees lip balm, I would go with the original. Even though this one is hydrating too, I prefer the peppermint in the original.

4. Meme Box tint balm in true red $7
I just moved this product to my purse because I like it so much. At work, however, there are those days when you look as tired as you feel, and by midday your whole look needs a pick me up. This color was bright enough to bring life back into my face, but sheer enough to not be overpowering. Just as promised, it felt moisturizing and had a universally flattering red shade. Head on over to MemeBox to see color swatches.
