1. SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel $62
Every now and then I get my hands on a product and talk myself out of using it because "it's too good to use". This green gel is amazing on hyperpigmentation spots. I've used this on dark spots on my chin left over from blemishes and I even used it on some faint sun spots that appeared on my hands. (I'm much better at putting sunscreen there now). I wish that I had pictures of before and after, but it really made them fade. The only thing that I worry about is that I've heard this product doesn't work as well the second or third time you buy it. That is why I'm still holding onto the last drops from this first bottle and limit my use to only when I really really need it. If you're looking for a way to easily fade dark spots without irritating your skin, I highly recommend this. I just can't make any claims about if the results stay consistent after the first bottle.

2. Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence $15-20
This was more like a serum to me than it was an essence, but whatever. It was not remarkable but it was not underwhelming. I think there are much better serums out there, but for the price I think that it's not bad at all. I did not see any negative effects on my skin, but if there were any benefits they were subtle overtime. This is one of those products that probably does help your skin remain clear and supple, but it doesn't do it solely on its own. I'm sure that having a solid skincare routine helped, so I can't give all the credit to this one product.

 3. Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner $18
I love this stuff. (The bf likes it too). I think that having an acid toner is an easy way to exfoliate your skin everyday. There's debate about whether it's good to exfoliate everyday, but for me personally, this is gentle enough for everyday. Keep in mind that there are different types of exfoliation- with a cloth, with granules, with an acid... and some are more gentle than others, so it's best to know what works with your skin and how often your skin needs it. However, the general rule is that you should exfoliate your skin 2-3 times a week. I digress. This toner has cleared up my pores and has made my skin's texture much smoother. I already am on my second bottle and will most likely buy a third. Just be sure to not squeeze the bottle too hard and drench the cotton pad- that would be a waste of product. I start in the center of my face and sweep the cotton pad up and outward.

4. Benton Snail Bee High Content Toner $6
My comments for this Benton toner are pretty much the same as the ones I made for the essence. Take it as you will.
